Chris asked:

I have an old Maxxum and would like to upgrade to a Sony so I can keep my lenses and also continue to have the built-in IS. I’d like something small but are all of the Sony Alpha bodies the same?

Basically yes, all the Sony DSLRs are the same size. The DSLR-A200 is marginally smaller than the other models and a bit lighter as well.

But it is probably better to consider of factors such as features and price.

If you’re looking for a puny DSLR, do some research on Olympus’ new E-420.
I’ve heard that it will support Sony and Maxxum lenses.

(it’s not a recommendation, I’ve never played with the cam myself, I think it comes out it May, but it might be something to look into).

The Sony bodies are pretty much the same size.

The A350 has incredible Live View with its articulated screen and the ability to AF while using it.
