here is a side by side comparison
the t200 seems nicer, a little more expensive, but probably worth it in the long run. it doesnt say that the movie clips have audio, but i couldnt see sony not having audio on their mpgs. the t200 has a better zoom, and better macro range. the t200 also has a bigger brighter LCD screen which is nice.
as for the touchscreen going bad i couldnt tell you, give it some time and see if yuo can find anyone that has had that problem. as far as image quality, they should be about the same as they have the same sensor and same megapixels.
if the “creature comforts” of the t200 are worth the extra $$, go for it. good luck!
