change the top dial to auto or P, and away from the movie slides icon or mpg or vpg.
check to see that your camera internal setup isn’t set on vpeg/mpeg.
if that fails, read the camera instructions. if you don’t have any, or threw them away, go to the sony website and pulll up the online copy for your camera
