The Sony Cyber-Shot has been a good camera for ME.... and mine looks and operates just like new, as I take very good care of it and always keep it in a small padded camera case/pouch. It has not been so great for my son, as he never kept it in a case, left it on a sofa table where the baby reached up and pulled it down on the floor and broke the monitor beyond repair. The answer to your question is: There are lots of good cameras out there if you take precautions and are careful with them. There are lots of dudds out there as well, most of which have been mishandled, left in a hot car, dropped on the ground or in water, stepped on.... They, too were good before us humans got hold of them LOL :)) What ever one you decide on? Be careful with it. Keep it in the case always and don't lend it to a friend! Hello Moto.
