I have a Gold Cyber-shot® W170 Digital Camera DSC-W170/N that will not connect to my computer! ?

Go to my computer and see if it displays your USBinside the the computer
if not just keep tRying
Try using a different USB port. It’s also possible that the cord you’re using may not be making the connection. Do you have a memory card reader in your tower? If you don’t then i’d suggest getting an external sony memory stick reader and leave it on your desk. You pop out the card and pop it into the reader. As far as troubleshooting, it’s between the actual USB port and your cord.
Didn’t catch that connecting part but go with what the person below me said. Personal experience takes the win.
It happend to me as well. You have mentioned that it just keep displaying “connecting”. There is some option in that camera screen. Select the mass storage device. Your camera will connect after selecting that option.
