Usually cameras go by pixels. I believe your camera is a 10.1 mp, I have a w100 8.1mp. The higher you make the pixels the clearer your pictures will come out and because of the pixel size it should up dpi. The higher you make the pixels the clearer your pictures will come out and because of the pixel size it should up dpi.
