HELP! soda spilled on my camer?

okay so. i have a Sony CyberShot DSC-W120. I accidently spilled pepsi over it, screen is fine now, but when i turn it on, it`ll turn off. but when i turn it off, it`ll just turn back on. what do i do to fix it? and if i was to get it done at a store, how much would it cost? PLEASE HELP

    It sounds like you’ve made your camera a paperweight. The only option you have is to actually have the camera professionally cleaned. Sweetened sodas not only cause damage to the electronics, but also causes gears to be sticky and the like.

    It may be a very long job, which is where the main problem comes in. With camera repairs, the parts is often the least expensive part of the whole deal, while the labor is really costly.

    Unfortunately you will have to pay for it yourself, as warranties (unless you actually bought a service plan through the retailer where you bought the camera) do not cover accidents like spilled liquids and dropping.
